Statement from George Whitney on the death of Ted Christopher
New London Waterford Speedbowl Statement from general manager George Whitney on the dearth of Ted Christopher:
“We lost an unbelievable driver, person and friend in Ted Christopher on Saturday. Teddy had a style of his own behind the wheel of a race car. We were honored to have Ted drive a SK Modified on a weekly basis here at the NLWS. He was a great competitor where veteran drivers respected him and was looked up as a mentor for the young and upcoming drivers in our sport. Teddy will be missed not only by the NLWS family but the fans as well.”
“The NLWS would like to send their condolences to the Christopher family and the family of Charles Dundas, who was the pilot of the plane.”
“The NLWS would also like to send their condolences to the DiPisa family and all the crew members who worked on Doug’s Modified so we had the chance to see one of the greatest drivers in our sport.”
