Rob Richardi Leads Pro-4 Modified’s into the #Bowlstrong 2017 Finale

Rob Richardi is sitting on top of the leader’s board for “The Connecticut Cup” Championship that Dan Meservey Sr. put together for The Speedbowl.

Richardi (156) sits seventeen points ahead of Doug Meservey Jr (139). The real battle sits in position two through fourth. Doug Meservey Jr. while trying to catch Richardi will be looking in his rear-view mirror for Dan Meservey Sr who sits just one point in arear while Mark Charette sits just four points behind in fourth. Brett Meservey sits in fifth with 129 points.

The Pro-4 Limited Division Jacob Perry sits on top of PJ Peters for the championship.

With the Pro-4 Modifieds running their Championship event last week at the Thompson Speedway the standings will be shuffled after their 25-lap event. Dan Meservey Sr. had motor issues last week and will not be competing in the event, giving up his third-place spot in the points. Also after Thompson, PJ Peters who is chasing Perry in the Limited Division wrecked his machine during the event and also be sitting on the sidelines and will hand Perry the Championship in the Limited’s.

Some new drivers committed for this weekend’s event are the 2017 Limited Champion Al Reiser as well as the 2015 Pro-4 Champion Andy Major.

The 2017 Pro-4 Champion that was crowned at Thompson was Brett Meservey and will be on hand for the event.
