Meet the Driver Event Scheduled For May 15th

This Saturday, May 15th, the Speedbowl is excited to bring the fans the “Meet the Driver” event.  Each event will showcase 2 drivers from our Saturdays and Wednesday divisions throughout the racing season.  Matt Buckler will interview the drivers immediately following the last heat race and before the opening ceremony.  The event will take place at the flag stand on the grandstand side of the fence.  This is an interactive session where fans get a chance to know the drivers and ask questions. 

Fans you are in for a treat.  This week our two drivers are Jeff Karns in the #68 NLWS Truck and Nickolas Hovey in the #16 Street Stock. 

Jeff Karns is a veteran driver.  He has raced just about anything with wheels.  His resume includes Mini Stocks, Late Models, Modifieds and currently the NLWS Truck division.  Jeff is one of the most outgoing drivers in the pits. 

Nickolas Hovey is an up and coming driver who started his racing career in Quarter Midgets and Bandoleros where he was quite successful.  Now he races in the Street Stock division just like his dad, Walter Hovey, did in the #16.
