2021 Bandolero runner up Milania Shilosky got off to a strong start this year, scoring the win in the first two events and four total so far. She’s quickly moving up the win total list for the division with double digits.
She has an 8 point lead over second place Bradley Strickland, who has recently scored his first Speedbowl win. Also scoring their first win this year was third place Trenton Starkweather who sits 15 points out.
All three drivers are a perfect 6 for 6 in Top 5’s.
Also still in the mix is fourth place Allyha DeSomma who currently sits 24 points out of the lead.
Pete Zaikarite’s return to X-Car competition last season had forecast things to come for the 2022 season. After missing the season opener, he went on to score 3 wins in a row and 4 overall to sit himself atop the standings.
Defending champion Chuck McDonald sits in the catbird seat, 10 points out of the lead. McDonald has fought a few car problems this season that has set him behind the 8 ball, but still remains within striking distance.
Rookie Jeremy Palmer currently sits in third, 16 points from the lead. Dylan Cabral in his return to full time competition and rookie Steven Talaba share 4th place, 19 points out. Behind them, Wade Robbins sits 20 points out also while battling numerous car issues.
Super X-Car veteran Dave Yardley currently has a stranglehold on the division. The 2018 champion is 7 for 7 on top 5’s with 3 wins, and has a 19 point advantage over a tight battle for second place.
Sean Skinner, Devin Tate, and Bill Rheaume are separated by only 4 points. Each driver has placed in the top 10 each event, and all three have one win so far this year.
Zachary Martinez and Isaiah Newcomb are locked in to a fierce battle for the top spot in the Wednesday night INEX Legend Cars. Martinez has a 5 point lead and 2 wins to Newcomb’s 1.
Isaiah has turned up the heat in recent weeks on both Wednesday and Saturday and looks to carry that momentum into the back half of summer.
Brody Monahan sits in third 18 points out and a big mountain to climb if he wants to catch the top 2.
Wild ‘n Wacky Wednesday is an affordable, family friendly mid-week program that runs on most Wednesday’s from May into September. General admission is only $12, kids 8 and under are free.
