TIM JORDAN MAKES IT 3 SK MODIFIED® WINS ON THE SEASON; CHARLES BEAL WINS FOURTH DIVISION IN PHOTO FINISH
WATERFORD – Kyle James took the lead from the drop of the green in the SK Modifieds®
with Rob Janovic Jr quickly taking over the top spot. Jon Puleo watched in wait until lap 10 when he made quick work of Janovic. A returning Joey Ternullo met the concrete just two laps later, when Tim Jordan worked his way into second. A second quick yellow flag came out and Jordan nailed the restart on Puleo and takes off from the pack. A caution halfway when Anthony Flannery did his best skateboard trick over the hood of Janovic set the stage for some mid-pack excitement. James would pull out of line on the following restart that collected Todd Owen and Justin 
Gaydosh. When racing finally got back underway, Jordan had the field covered but Flannery and Owen were slicing and dicing their way through the field high and low, getting into a tough fight with Chase Cook and Andrew Molleur as laps clicked down. Jordan won his third feature event of the season with Owen and Flannery rebounding to finish on the podium.
The SK Lights went clean and green in their first of two races with Sami Anderson launching from her top spot and running for cover. Evan Bourgeois fresh off a win gave her a quick fight but couldn’t keep it up and Tyler Barry was minding his own business in third. The battle for fourth was hot with Zack Sangermano, Jake Hines, and Nickolas Hovey who started way back in 13th. Halfway through, Hovey used the low groove to pick off all those 
drivers on his charge to the front, finding him in the third spot. By 7 to go, Hovey worked into the 2nd spot with his sights set on Anderson. Time ran out before Hovey could make a move and Anderson was able to pick up the win to become the seventh different winner in as many races.
The win streak in the second SK Light race looked like it would almost continue at first when Tyler Barry took off at the start. Evan Bourgeois made quick work of Barry however, but a yellow would come out resetting the field. Zack Sangermano used the next restart to get by Barry. With Bourgeois and Sangermano safely out front, Barry would get wrapped up in an incident with Anderson and Hines. Bourgeois would go on to be the first repeat winner in the division, with Bill Anderson landing himself a solid podium spot.
Ed Gertsch Jr. picked up where he left off last time the Street Stocks got together leading the field with a side-by-side battle against Chad Baxter, and Norm Root III in their
tire tracks. A caution around halfway doesn’t stop Gertsch from his dominance as he runs away while Baxter and Root battle in his mirror. A caution with 3 to go set the stage for a dramatic finish. Baxter took over the lead from Gertsch with Root going by as well. Rolling into turn 3 to take the checkered flag, Root and Baxter would get together and collect into the wall opening the door for Gertsch to take back the top spot he once had and win back-to-back races.
Jon Porter had the fort held down in the second Street Stock race for the first handful of laps, until a restart allowed Aaron Plemons to make a three wide attempt on Porter and Shawn Gaedeke, sending Gaedeke into the wall where he collected it and kept going. Gertsch slipped into second on Porter with Joe Arena and Root charging hard through the field. Arena and Porter fought hard side by side for the last 5 laps with Porter edging ahead. At the front, Plemons had to hold off Gertsch who was all over his bumper. After a tumultuous first race, Plemons was able to park his new car in victory lane.
Calamity at the drop of the green flag for the Trucks allowed Brad Strickland to quickly take off to a huge lead. Charles Beal was the first to work his way through the choppy start and set his sights on Strickland by lap 4 with Tyler Chapman following in third. That’s how they would run for the first half of the race until a caution bunched the pack up. Beal would take advantage and be the next to run for cover, with Chapman moving into second with 8 laps on the board. Another caution set up a green white checkered that had Chapman with the early advantage. Beal fired his Truck underneath Chapman and the two would come together trading paint for the entire last lap, where Beal would nose ahead by a molecule at the line. His win would be the first in the division, and his fourth different 
division in Speedbowl history.
The INEX Legend Cars had a scheduled doubleheader for this evening. Jase Mongeon was the first out front with PJ Evans following. Mongeon would take off to a huge lead but as the laps clicked down Evans would reel him in, citing being too loose to make a move. In the second feature the script would get flipped. Dylan Freeman and Wade Oemcke led when the green flag dropped but when Riley Paul made a three-wide move, it allowed Evans and Mongeon to take over the top spots. This time, Evans would cross the stripe first with Mongeon in the runner-up spot.
